Tall Chin Illustrations is the studio of British artist Philip Shaw, bringing together wildlife, landscape and storytelling through traditional painting and illustration.

Drawing on years spent in Kenya and East Africa, his work is shaped by direct experience of wildlife and landscape.

From wildlife studies and safari scenes to children’s illustrations and narrative sketches, each piece explores the character of its subject and the place it inhabits.

Working in watercolour and oil, Philip creates original paintings and limited edition prints, alongside a small number of private commissions.
